Automations are what create the experience you want your applicants, as well as your team, to have. They carry the applicant through your recruiting process. They also help make that process efficient and effective for all involved.
The many different ways that automations can be implemented allows us to custom tailor the automated experience to your company’s individual needs.
The most prevalent usage of Automations is in automatically updating applicants to stages in the recruiting process based on activity.
For example, when a new applicant applies, the automations reply to welcome them, and if applicable, they send the application questionnaire (aka ‘task’ questions) to that applicant.
Reminder automations then send a series of 3 emails and 3 texts, one every few days, to encourage the applicant to complete the application.
From there, the completion of the questions triggers an update to a specific stage, where the recruiter can begin the visual screening process.
As the applicant continues to flow through the process, automations can then send emails to your team with the applicant’s information once we have vetted them, and allow you to update them to subsequent stages in your process.
Automations associated with stage updates can also trigger automatic emails to the applicants, relative to what stage they are in, with specific information, requests, or calls to action such as scheduling their interview with you or registering for a webinar, etc. The options are endless!
Below are a few examples to show the implementation of an automation:
In these examples, the applicant is in the beginning of the application process. They have been updated to the Engagement stage.
In the first automation, you can see applicants who are updated to the Engagement stage will be ‘Assigned’ the application Task, which will allow them to access the application (aka task) questions when they are sent the link to them.
The next automation is set up so that a few minutes later, those in that stage will then be sent an email thanking them for their interest in applying and asking them to complete the application, for which the link to do so is also provided.
Another automation is set to trigger one day later, reminding the applicant that their application is still incomplete and asking them to please complete and submit it.
