Message Templates are where email templates can be created to be used either by the operations team within the automations that messaging applicants or personally, by you, while working within a candidate’s application. (The latter is described in more detail in a separate article.)
To access the Message Templates, first click on Templates located in the left hand toolbar.
You will immediately be taken to the Messages tab. To create an email template, click the green Add Message Template button in the upper right corner of the page.
From there, give your template a name and, if you wish to organize your email templates, you can also select a category for it.
Now you are ready to create your message. (Note, the text message section applies only to messages to be sent out via the automations.)
Just add your email subject and then the body. You can add tokens [T] to your body that will automatically fill in the information corresponding to the relevant job and applicant whom you are messaging. When you are done creating your email, just click the green Save button below.
Your email will now be available to use to communicate with a candidate while within the Engage Tab within the candidate’s application.
Just click Email in the Engage drop down, and then select your template amongst the templates listed under Load Message Template.
Once selected, your email subject and body will automatically load. You can further adjust your message if you like. When it is just the way you want it, just click the green Send message button below, and your email will be sent to the applicant.
